Tax Credits

Through 2016, there is a 30% (of the cost of the system) Federal Tax Credit on qualified renewable energy installs, including wind, and solar energy (Solar Electric Panels and Solar Water Heater). This is for residential only. There is also a federal tax credit of 10% (of cost of qualified energy efficiency upgrades), up to $500 for qualified energy efficiency upgrades.

The State of Arizona also provides a 10% tax credit on qualified renewable energy, up to $1,000.
